Higher Whiteness Opacity Charts
Higher whiteness versions of Forms 2A, 3B and 5C are available under the product codes Forms 2A-H, 3B-H and 5C-H, respectively. Forms 2A, 3B and 5C have an approximate Y-reflectance of 82-83% which is typical of standard production and used by most customers. Forms 2A-H, 3B-H and 5C-H have an approximate Y-reflectance of 86-87% and are used by some customers who have found benefits in using higher whiteness charts. For most users, this slight difference in reflectance has no effect on test results. In cases where the test coating is not applied to full hiding, an effect on colorimetric measurements may be observed due to the increased re?ectance of the white area.
